Review of Estimates
DMA provides Desk Review services on estimates for the repair of material damage coming direct from shops and/or on work product produced by independent appraisers.
Service Capacity
DMA has Desk Review units in its Regional Claims Centers in Los Angeles, CA and Battle Creek, MI covering all states. We have personnel with shop and appraiser backgrounds. Our material damage supervisors average 15+ years of experience.
We would desk review the estimates or appraisals received to ensure your material damage profile has been followed and that the most cost effective estimate was written using the proper amounts for parts, labor and materials needed to repair the vehicle to pre-accident condition. When reductions are required, we will contact the shop directly to get agreed upon estimates. We normally receive estimates by email or fax and complete the desk review with agreed price estimates in less than 24 hours.

1. Fee for service
- per estimate desk reviewed: $35
This fee includes
desk reviewing the estimate received, passing it as written or noting
reductions required and working with the shop to get an agreed price
reduced from the original estimate. The desk-reviewed estimate/appraisal
is then passed onto the adjuster handling the claim.
2. Monthly management
report: No Charge
We will provide
a monthly management report showing metrics as in 1 - 3 above. Should
you need another measurement as well, we are confident that we can record
and report this as well.
